Cab And Sleeper Repair

Cab damage from collisions, parking lot impacts, and road debris is a daily reality for long-haul and regional carriers. Our technicians repair fiberglass, aluminum, and steel cab components — including hood panels, fairings, fenders, and bumper assemblies — restoring structural integrity and appearance so the truck represents your operation professionally.

Sleeper cab repairs require particular attention to weatherproofing and seal integrity. A poorly repaired sleeper joint or window seal becomes a water intrusion point that causes corrosion and interior damage over time. We seal every repaired joint and test for water infiltration before releasing the truck.

  • Hood and fender alignment verified before and after repair
  • All weatherstrips and seals replaced as part of the repair process
  • Paint matched to factory color codes for seamless finish
02

Fairing And Aerodynamic Panel Repair

Side fairings, roof fairings, and chassis skirts take significant road damage from rocks, debris, and low-clearance strikes. Cracked or missing aero panels affect both fuel economy and DOT compliance — damaged fairings can be cited during roadside inspections. We repair or replace fairing panels and restore proper mounting hardware and alignment.

Fiberglass fairing repair is performed in-shop and can save significant cost over full panel replacement. We assess each panel individually — structural cracks and delamination are repaired and reinforced, while panels with impact damage beyond repair limits are replaced with direct-fit OEM or aftermarket units.

  • Aero panel mounting brackets and hardware inspected and replaced as needed
  • Repaired panels painted and color matched before installation
  • Full fairing alignment checked after installation for aerodynamic fit

Trailer Body And Door Repair

Trailer doors, floor, and side walls sustain constant loading-dock damage. Bent or misaligned rear doors are one of the most common trailer body complaints — when doors seal poorly, cargo security and trailer weatherproofing are both compromised. We straighten, rehang, and seal rear doors so they latch, lock, and seal correctly.

Trailer floor repair covers damaged or rotted flooring sections from forklift impact and moisture intrusion. We replace damaged floor sections with hardwood or composite flooring and treat the subframe for corrosion where needed. A structurally sound trailer floor is essential for load-rating compliance and forklift operation safety.

  • Door hinge and locking rod adjustment and replacement
  • Rear door rubber seal replacement for weather and cargo protection
  • Floor board replacement with load-rated hardwood or composite material

Frame And Structural Repair

Frame damage — whether from collision, overloading, or fatigue cracks — is a serious safety issue that affects alignment, suspension geometry, and the structural integrity of the entire vehicle. Our shop inspects frame rails, crossmembers, and mounting brackets for cracks, bends, and corrosion, and we document findings before any repair work begins.

Frame crossmember replacement and rail reinforcement are performed in-shop using certified materials and welding procedures. We align the frame after repair using straightening equipment and verify measurements against factory specifications. Every structural repair is documented for FMCSA and insurance purposes.

  • Frame crack inspection using visual and measurement methods
  • Crossmember and gusset replacement welded to spec
  • Post-repair frame alignment verified before road release

Rust, Corrosion, And Undercoating

Trucks operating in the Pacific Northwest face year-round moisture, road salt from winter treatment, and corrosive conditions that accelerate rust on frames, crossmembers, fuel tanks, and battery boxes. Left untreated, surface rust becomes structural rust — and structural rust becomes failed components. We identify and treat corrosion before it reaches that point.

Rust treatment begins with surface preparation — grinding, media blasting, or chemical treatment depending on severity — followed by a rust-inhibiting primer and topcoat or undercoating application. We apply rubberized undercoating to frame rails, crossmembers, and underbody components that are exposed to the worst road spray.

  • Battery box, fuel tank straps, and crossmembers treated as priority areas
  • Rubberized undercoating applied to all treated underbody surfaces
  • Surface rust addressed before it penetrates to structural metal

Fifth Wheel And Kingpin Service

The fifth wheel and kingpin connection is one of the highest-load contact points on any tractor-trailer combination. Wear in the fifth wheel jaw, kingpin, and mounting plate transfers directly into trailer handling instability, coupling noise, and out-of-tolerance play that creates DOT out-of-service conditions. We inspect, adjust, and replace fifth wheel assemblies and kingpins to restore correct coupling geometry.

Fifth wheel lubrication service is performed as part of every preventive maintenance visit but is often overlooked as a standalone item. Dry fifth wheel contact surfaces generate extreme heat and accelerate wear on both the kingpin and the fifth wheel plate. We clean, inspect, and grease the fifth wheel plate at every service interval and replace worn skid plates before they cause kingpin damage.

  • Fifth wheel jaw, locking pawl, and release linkage inspected and adjusted
  • Kingpin diameter measured and documented against wear limits
  • Fifth wheel mounting bolts and plate inspected for cracks and corrosion
